While working on my internship project, me and my director encountered a couple of challenges that we didn't initially expect. We had originally planned on creating some social media content and broachers for the YMCA in order to promote our summer youth sports programs. But we were limited to what we were able to do on our own because the YMCA has a marketing director who is in charge of that. In order to do our own marketing, we used the broachers created by the marketing director and visited local elementary schools in order to connect with kids and parents and promote our summer youth sports programs. We were able to gain some additional interest for our programs by doing this.
