For my senior internship I decided to work with the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley. The YMCA is a nonprofit organization which aims to strengthen the community by empowering young people, improving the health and well-being of people of all ages and inspiring action in and across communities. For my internship, I worked the youth sports program under director Herman Fennell, and was mainly his assistant for the winter/spring sports season.
